The VX29 Polaris is a versatile VS LMG.  With its wide range of attachments, it can excel at close quarters or medium ranges. With a 100 round magazine and access to an advanced laser sight and soft point ammo, this gun is effective in CQC. With a forward grip and compensator, you can turn this weapon into an effective medium range gun. You can even create a hyrbrid by mixng and matching some attachments. However, due to its versatility, this weapon has a moderate fire rate, giving it a high time to kill.

Barrel Attachments
Suppressor The suppressor reduces the noise and muzzle flash generated by the firearm, and prevents the player from showing on the minimap when firing. Bullet velocity and effectiveness at range are reduced.

Compensator A compensator redirects gases upward, reducing vertical recoil. The increased sound pressure will cause the player to show on the minimap from farther away, and increased weapon bulk reduces accuracy when firing from the hip.
