The rapid firing T2 Striker is capable of launching heat-seeking missiles at both vehicles and aircraft. Introduced in GU06, the Striker has a unique ability to fire five missiles in quick succession before having to reload. The Striker has a distinctive red-coloured missile, making it easy to identify on the battlefield. Like other lock-on launchers, the Striker requires the user to maintain a lock even after firing the missiles. Losing a lock while the missiles are in flight will cause them to vear off course. The benefit of using the striker is the increased damage per magazine and the ability to fire multiple smaller volleys, ESFs flying erratically around terrain might break some of the locks but the remaining missiles will connect.
