The Sunderer is a combat bus with twelve seats: a driver, two gunners, and nine passengers. It is the only vehicle with service/support customizations: AMS, vehicle ammo, proximity repair, shield diffuser.

Advanced Mobile Station

A Sunderer with AMS can deploy to spawn soldiers, like spawn rooms but mobile. AMS in key locations can decide battles. Make sure to defend friendly AMS and destroy hostile AMS.

S-AMS is auto-granted, it's available by default to every sunderer. Come to a full stop to deploy (B by default). Undeploy to move.

Sunderer Strategy Links

  • Tech Plant Basic Defensive Strategy
    1. Bring in a Sunderer and park it in a corner of the Tech Plant main facility for added defense
  • Tech Plant Advanced Offensive Strategy
    1. Use them as a close in spawn point to get reinforcements into the battle fast.
  • Tech Plant Advanced Defensive Strategy
    1. Load up Sunderer transports to shuttle a large force from the Tech Plant main base to one of the outposts. The transport has enough armor to withstand small arms infantry fire and can be charged right into open bay hangars to secure the floor.
  • Tech Plant Communication and Coordination
    1. Look around. Is there Galaxy or Sunderer waiting for passengers? Are there tanks or aircraft waiting for additional crew members? This game is about supporting others, go join them.
    2. Check to see if gunners are needed or load up in a Sunderer and provide mechanized infantry support.
  • Bio Lab Advanced Offensive Strategies
    1. For Bio Lab assaults, the primary target should be the spawn building, with the secondary target being the teleporter building in order to push back enemy infantry. Then the infantry should deploy from the Sunderer and begin to capture the control point by clearing the inside of the building.
    2. Park a Sunderer inside the Bio Lab structure housing the energy lifts to the air assault support pads.
  • Amp Station Defensive Strategy
    1. In case you lose the main Amp Station Facility, place a Sunderer inside the Hanger for a good spawn spot.
    2. Deploying next to an ammo tower while facing an entrance can give you team two additional turrets in a hotly contested zone.
  • Heavy Assault Class Strategy
    1. It only takes 2 C4 charges and a strike from the rocket launcher from a Heavy Assault to blow you up. Watch out for heavies!
  • Engineer Class Strategy
    1. One of the main Engineer roles is to repair your tank. Try not to back over them!
    2. A single certification in Tank Mines gives engineers 2 tank mines, enough to fully destroy a sunderer unequipped with Mine Guard. Keep them away from the Sunderer!
