The Serpent VE92 is a faction-specific carbine. It appears as a standard-issue VS carbine with a design that resembles the Pulsar C. As the manufacturer of this weapon is directly affiliated with the Vanu Sovereignty, this weapon is only available for use by VS Light Assault and Engineer troops.

The main feature of this weapon is it's blazing fast rate-of-fire at 845rpm. This allows the weapon to quickly drop enemies at close range and also provide a good fighting chance at medium range. The weapon's firerate ties it with the New Conglomerate's GD-7F for the second fastest firing carbine in the game, with the Terran Republic's LC2 Lynx being the fastest, at 909rpm. It's hip-fire is decent enough to be used at close-quarters and it's recoil, while bouncy, is easily controllable.

The main downside to this weapon is it's slow muzzle velocity at 420m/s. However, it is worth noting that this trait is negligible, as this weapon does not suffer from bullet drop (a typical Vanu trait). Therefore, players can use a silencer without fear of increased bullet drop. The weapon also suffers from a considerably lengthy reload.

The Serpent VE92 is immensely popular with VS troops, due to it's high degree of effectiveness at close-range and relatively low cost to obtain.

The Serpent VE92 will cost either 250 certs, which will only unlock for the character whom you purchased it on, or 500 Station Cash, which will unlock for all VS characters in your Station Account.

Barrel Attachments
Suppressor The suppressor reduces the noise and muzzle flash generated by the firearm, and prevents the player from showing on the minimap when firing. Bullet velocity and effectiveness at range are reduced.

Flash Suppressor A flash suppressor makes the shooter less visible to the enemy without affecting muzzle velocity or damage. A very small reduction in full-auto accuracy makes burst control necessary for extremely long ranges.

Serpent VE92 or VX6-7Edit

The Serpent VE92 and VX6-7 are both great CQC weapon options, but each have their pros/cons.  The Serpent VE92 has a minimal fire rate increase over the VX6-7 (45 more) and costs less (750 less certs or 200 Station Cash), but has a lower bullet velocity and longer reload. They both have the same attachment options.

Ribbons and MedalsEdit

It is possible to get both Ribbons and Medals for using the Serpent VE92. Each Ribbon is a standard reward for achieving a set amount of kills with the Serpent VE92. Medals relate to how many overall kills you have with the Serpent VE92.
