The NC6 Gauss SAW is a standard weapon for New Conglomerate Heavy Assault. Its high damage can kill enemies in 5 hits at close range or 6 at long range; add one bullet for Nanoweave Armor. It also has a 100 round magazine. However, it has an incredibly long 6.5s/7.5s reload, an incredibly high recoil, and a low rate of fire.

The Compensator and Advanced Forward Grip are must-have attachments for this weapon, and will cost 300 Cert Points total. Different sights have different effects but 1x to 3.4x scopes are useful depending on range and playstyle. 4x scopes can be used by experienced players. Overall the SAW is a hard weapon to use and will cost a user some points in order to unlock its full potential, but it is a highly effective weapon with the highest damage of any LMG in the game.

Game Play Hints Edit

Compensator should be used along side the Advanced Forward Grip (This will give you a lot more control over kick).

You only need to land 6 shots (7 for Nanoweave users) to kill beyond ten meters, so fire in short bursts and concentrate on a target. Firing on full-auto at range makes it hard to land shots and the weapon has a very slow 'center speed' or speed at which it returns to the original aiming point.

Barrel Attachments
Suppressor The suppressor reduces the noise and muzzle flash generated by the firearm, and prevents the player from showing on the minimap when firing. Bullet velocity and effectiveness at range are reduced.

Compensator A compensator redirects gases upward, reducing vertical recoil. The increased sound pressure will cause the player to show on the minimap from farther away, and increased weapon bulk reduces accuracy when firing from the hip.
