The NC6S Gauss SAW's select fire mode gives it incredible adaptability on the field. One noticeable feature about this "S" variant weapon is that it increases fire rate rather than decreases it from the origin weapon. For example, T9 CARV S variant decreases fire rate to 698 RPM when the standard CARV fires at 750 RPM. However, damage is reduced to 167 maximum damage for this attribute.
Equipped with a combination chevron/crosshair reticle and 3.4x magnification capabilities, the TR's Designated Marksman Optics functions well at many ranges.
The 6x magnified S3 comes standard on many Terran sniper rifles. Its moderate zoom level and mil-dot sighting makes it perfect for mid-to-long range combat.
