MSW-R is a TR LMG that boasts a high rate of fire (the same as that of the standard T9 CARV), a better hipfire cone of fire when compared to the other LMGs, and a quick reload at the cost of having only 50 rounds in the magazine. As the description suggests, this LMG is best used for mobile TR heavy assaults who prefer get back into the situation as quickly as possible regardless of magazine size. The MSW-R has a unique recoil pattern of up into the right, this leaves rail selection for the highly recommended and exclusive Advanced Laser Sight to emphasize its close quarters role and already great hipfire.
With this weapon you should charge in and hold corridors or attack points. Do not use it as a battlefield-wide LMG as it is not accurate enough at range, nor should you try to suppress opponents as its magazine is too small. This weapon is for shock trooper usage, so get into the fight and get up close.

HS/NV Scope (1X)

Equipped with a combination chevron/crosshair reticle and 3.4x magnification capabilities, the TR's Designated Marksman Optics functions well at many ranges.

The Terran Republic's Advanced Combat Scope utilizes a triple chevron reticle and 4x magnification, making it a good choice for all-around use.
The suppressor reduces the noise and muzzle flash generated by the firearm, and prevents the player from showing on the minimap when firing. Bullet velocity and effectiveness at range are reduced.
A flash suppressor makes the shooter less visible to the enemy, but will increase the range at which you'll appear on enemy minimaps.
The rail mounted Darklight Flashlight can illuminate hostile cloaked infiltrators and dark areas but the light can give away your position.
Advanced Laser Sight
An advanced forward grip greatly increases control of the weapon, reducing horizontal recoil by 33%.

Ribbons and Medals Edit
It is possible to get both Ribbons and Medals for using the MSW-R. Each Ribbon is a standard reward for achieving a set amount of kills with the MSW-R. Medals relate to how many overall kills you have with the MSW-R.
