The MSW-R is a light machine gun available to the Terran Republic. It is unlocked through purchase with Certification Points or Daybreak Cash.

The Mobile Support Weapon - Rampage is part of the 'trinity' - a trio of close-quarters oriented light machine guns all popular on their respective factions. The MSW-R, Icon NC LA1 Anchor, and Icon VS Orion VS54 are all close-quarters oriented machine guns with approximately the same damage-per-second, simple recoil, good hip accuracy, a 50-round magazine, and relatively fast reloads for their class, perfectly suiting an aggressive playstyle.

The MSW-R itself can be easily compared to the T9 CARV, thanks to their shared damage model and fall-off. Though the CARV may sport a magazine twice as large, it takes a similarly lengthened time to reload, and is noticeably harder to control, with considerably poorer minimum hip cone-of-fire values. Where a high number of kills per mag isn't a necessity, the MSW-R's more comfortable and lightweight stats may prove more consistent.
