High Velocity Ammunition
High Velocity Ammunition Cert
High velocity ammunition has a faster travel time and is more effective at long range. Vertical recoil is slightly higher in comparison to standard ammunition.

Cert Cost: 100 Certification Points
SC Cost: 75 Daybreak Cash

The High Velocity Ammunition (HVA) is certification for ammo slot, that increases bullet velocity and extends minimum damage falloff range by 10 meters (some weapons get 20 meters, but it's not clear /yet/ which ones), by increasing vertical recoil of the weapon.

Explanation

This diagram just shows what HVA (and SPA) does.

SPA and HVA attachments

How SPA and HVA effect a weapon damage model

The diagram doesn't show any specific number since it's variable for each weapon. As you can see:

  • HVA doesn't increase the weapon's maximum damage range, but increases the range where the weapon does the minimum damage.
  • SPA increases the range where the weapon does the maximum damage, but the weapon does the minimum damage at the same range as without it.
