The G30 Vulcan is a gunner weapon available to the Prowler . It is unlocked through purchase with Certification Points or Daybreak Cash .
The G30 Vulcan is a high damage-per-second chain gun, capable of shredding through vehicles at very close ranges with its high rate-of-fire and large magazine, although becomes increasingly less effective even out to middling ranges, thanks to relatively unfavorable accuracy characteristics and a low minimum damage range.
Like other chain guns, the Vulcan must spool up to reach its maximum fire rate, beginning at a fire rate of 300 RPM and spooling up to 750 RPM over a period of 1000ms (1.0s) of the trigger being held. If the trigger is released, the weapon's rate-of-fire immediately resets.

The role of the G30 Vulcan and P525 Marauder Grenade launcher has been switched. The Vulcan is now an anti-vehicle weapon and the Marauder anti-personnel.

Dev Note: The June 12th gave the Vulcan some much needed power, but ended up going a bit too far. The Vulcan overshadowed the power and role of mid and long range weapons, while surpassing other factional CQC weapons as well. We're pulling some of the range buff back, while leaving in the rate of fire increase, so that playing to the weapon's effective range is more important.
March 30, 2022 Update (The Arsenal Update)
The reload speed certification lines for top guns, air vehicle non-nosegun (and non-bellygun) weapons have been standardized at 10/14/17/19/20% reload speed.
