Developed by Vanu's Esamir labs, the Flare VE6 is a powerful weapon useful at any range. With the highest damage of any Vanu LMG, a skilled player can be an efficient killer in all situations. Some of the unique attributes of this weapon include equal left/right recoil, a 3-round burst mode, and the ability to equip both soft point and high velocity ammunition.

Suppressor The suppressor reduces the noise and muzzle flash generated by the firearm, and prevents the player from showing on the minimap when firing. Bullet velocity and effectiveness at range are reduced.

Flash Suppressor A flash suppressor makes the shooter less visible to the enemy, but will increase the range at which you'll appear on enemy minimaps.

Compensator A compensator redirects gases upward, reducing vertical recoil. The increased sound pressure will cause the player to show on the minimap from farther away, and increased weapon bulk reduces accuracy when firing from the hip.

Flare VE6 or UrsaEdit

The Flare VE6 and Ursa are both competitive LMG options for long range combat, but both have their pros/ cons.  The Ursa has a higher bullet velocity and a shorter reload, making it the better option for pure long range firefights.  The Flare costs less (350 less certs or 200 less station cash), has a minimally higher fire rate (just 7 more rounds per minute), and has more firing modes.  This makes the Flare good at long range combat, but better (than the Ursa) at transitioning into medium to medium-short range combat.  Another detail to notice is that the Ursa has a different look to it than other Vanu LMGs, which players may find aesthetically pleasing.

Ribbons and MedalsEdit

It is possible to get both Ribbons and Medals for using the Flare VE6. Each Ribbon is a standard reward for achieving a set amount of kills with the Flare. Medals relate to how many overall kills you have with the Flare.
