The Recruiter Rewards system was a program run by Sony Online Entertainment, and later Daybreak Game Company, encouraging players to invite their associates to play the companies' games and spend money within. It first ran from the 18th of July 2013, briefly becoming unavailable in mid-2014, before returning until its final conclusion on the 19th of June, 2015.[1]
The program tasked players with having accounts created through their unique referral links, and then having those accounts make a qualifying purchase in any Sony Online Entertainment or Daybreak Game Company product. Referees would enjoy bonuses simply for registering through a referral link, and both parties would receive benefits when the referee spent a certain amount of money on qualifying purchases.
The referring player could receive a plethora of rewards based on the number of accounts created through their referral link who later went onto make qualifying purchases. For each account that made a qualifying purchase, the referring player could choose one of the following boosts;
Then, as they successfully recruited more paying accounts, they would earn a number of increasingly more valuable rewards.
The qualifying amount a referee had to spend is listed below. These values may be misleading, as they were based on the value of the given currencies in 2013 to 2015, and these currencies may have decreased in value drastically since then.

Recruiter Ranks[]
As referring players recruited accounts that went on to make eligible purchases, they moved up the recruiter rewards system, earning rewards for each rank they achieved. Recruiters could only receive each reward once.
A large amount of these rewards were exclusively available through the program. As a result, they have not and will not be made available again now that the program has ended.

History[]
The Recruiter Rewards program was first launched on the 18th of July, 2013. It continued until the middle of 2014, where it was temporarily shelved after the introduction of the All-Access Membership program, although returned shortly after. It then survived until the 19th of June 2015.
Any program participants were granted the rewards for the next rank they had not yet achieved, with all rewards being handed out by the 16th of July, 2015. The program has not returned since, with legal issues implied to be the reason for this being the case.
The original website, as hosted by Sony Online Entertainment, offered the following advertisement for the program;
It doesn't end there! As you recruit more and more friends, you can rise through the Ranks and earn even more Achievement Rewards.
Invite your friends and family now. They can play for free or spend a little money to enhance their enjoyment. Once they become an official Recruit by spending a qualifying amount, they earn rewards – and so do you!
