The Enforcer ML85 is the New Conglomerate's long-range anti-vehicle turret. Used as a secondary weapon on the Vanguard, it fires accurate, moderate damage HEAT rounds designed to chip away at enemy vehicles.
Compared to the Nanite SystemsE540 Halberd, the Enforcer has lower damage per shot but greater fire rate and ammunition supply, allowing it to deal more damage over time (at the cost of lacking the Halberd's single large punch).
With any vehicle weapon, it is possible to get both Ribbons and Medals. Each Ribbon is a standard reward for achieving a set amount of kills with a vehicle weapon. Medals relate to how many overall kills you have with the vehicle weapon.
The Enforcer now has a different reload mechanic, ammo will be reloaded one round at a time and the weapon can be fired at anytime during the reload process.
Dev Note: Direct and blast damage changes the number of hits to kill against infantry from 2 to 3. The range was also too far for a medium range weapon, gravity increasing to 5 to brings the effective range in a few meters. The continuous reload feature is removed because it didn’t display properly and didn’t add much to the weapon. Finally, the projectile has been updated to look more like a rail gun and less like a rocket.
Projectile max velocity from 300 to 250 (Harasser)
Projectile gravity from 5 to 6 (Harasser)
Magazine size from 8 to 7 (Harasser)
Ammo capacity from 80 to 77 (Harasser)
Dev Note: Enforcer's damage on both Harasser and Vanguard have been equalized and improved, and Harasser's effective range has been reduced to compensate for the damage increase, similar to most other top-mounted Harasser weapons versus their MBT counterparts. We've also increased the overall damage to give the Enforcer harder hits and stronger synergy with directional damage bonuses. With these changes, 7 Enforcer rockets can destroy a Harasser without composite armor, and bring an MBT burning with the same number of shots to the rear.
Dev Note: We've knocked the three shot infantry kill down to a two shot kill by way of a blast damage buff so that the choice between Enforcer and Halberd is a bit more preference based than it was.
The reload speed certification lines for top guns, air vehicle non-nosegun (and non-bellygun) weapons have been standardized at 10/14/17/19/20% reload speed.
