The Dual Photon Pods are a secondary vehicle weapon for the Vanu Sovereignty Scythe. This weapon provides a high-explosive, dumb-fire, ground attack option for the pilot.

Unlike the Hellfire Rocket Pods and the Breaker Rocket Pods available to TR and NC, which fire one rocket per click, Dual Photon Pods use a "double-tap" system. Each click to the fire button launches two rockets, for a total of seven trigger-pulls to fire the whole magazine.

It is possible to get both Ribbons and Medals for using the Dual Photon Pods. Each Ribbon is a standard reward for achieving a set amount of kills with a Photon Pod. Medals relate to how many overall kills you have with the Photon Pods.
