Coyote Missiles are a wing mount weapon available to empire specific fighters. They are unlocked through purchase with Certification Points or Daybreak Cash.
Coyote missiles are dumbfired and will lock onto any enemy aircraft they come within a 20 meter proximity of after being fired, quickly changing direction to track the target. Though these missiles deal moderate splash damage to infantry and can damage all vehicle types with direct hits, they're most effective against empire specific fighters.
Coyote missiles, like all other lock-on missiles, can be defeated by Decoy Flares, with any further locks on the target vehicle being prevented for 8 seconds after the countermeasures have been dispensed.
It is possible to get both Ribbons and Medals for using the Coyote Missiles. Each Ribbon is a standard reward for achieving a set amount of kills with a Coyote Missiles. Medals relate to how many overall kills you have with the Coyote Missiles.
The reload speed certification lines for main cannons, noseguns, ESF wing mounts, Liberator bellyguns, and Flash weapons have been standardized at 5/7/8.5/9.5/10% reload speed.
