Camouflages are a wide range of color schemes and patterns that can be applied to infantry armor, weapons, and vehicle chassis. They are obtained from a variety of sources, though often through purchase with Daybreak Cash.

Camouflages equally cover the unit or weapon they are applied to with a repeating pattern, although depending on the precise object there may be parts that remain their normal color.

As with many other cosmetics, player-made camouflages can be submitted for addition to the game through the Player Studio (Icon Player Studio), and any such camouflages that were created by players are marked with the appropriate icon.

A wide variety of camouflage is available to characters of all empires as well as Nanite Systems Operatives, generally using a more neutral design language and often using colors associated with nature rather than any one empire.

Trivia[]

  • Prior to Game Update Number 8, camouflages were split into two types; single-use, and permanent. Single-use camos were far cheaper to purchase, but could be used on only a single weapon or unit and were lost if removed. After this update, all camouflages became permanent, allowing one purchase to be used on an infinite amount of items.
    • A single-use camo briefly returned to the game in the March 12, 2018 Update in the form of the single-use Gold weapon camo. This could be removed and reapplied at will, unlike the single-use camos of old, but was locked to the first weapon it was applied to. This later became a permanent camo available to all weapons.
