There are six Battle Rifles in game, two for each faction. The Terran Republic has the AMR-66 and the DMR-99. The New Conglomerate has the Warden and the GD Guardian The Vanu Sovereignty has the Eidolon VE33 and the Revenant. Battle Rifles are effective at range, with their high-damaging, semi-automatic shots. However, they are not a competitive option at close range with their large hip-fire cone of fire. The best way to use these guns (especially at longer ranges) is to fire a shot, wait for the gun to recenter, and fire another shot. This way, the gun remains extremely accurate, allowing for easy follow-up shots. With their high recoil, it is difficult to learn how to correctly use these weapons, but they can be extremely effective when mastered. Battle rifles are nearly identical in performance between factions, with the only difference being the Eidolon and Revenant's slower projectile travel time, since they are energy based Vanu Sovereignty weapons.
