The Anti-Vehicle Grenade is a grenade available to the Heavy Assault and Engineer. It is unlocked using Certification Points
When thrown, anti-vehicle grenades begin a 3 second fuse, and bounce off any surfaces they contact. Anti-vehicle grenades can stick to vehicles and MAXes and will do so to the first appropriate unit they contact, including to friendlies. Anti-vehicle grenades do not deal any additional damage if stuck to a target, as compared to exploding within range.
Unlike standard frag grenades, anti-vehicle grenades deal Heavy Explosives type damage instead of Common Explosive, allowing them to deal greatly increased damage to vehicles and MAXes, though this comes at overall inferior performance versus standard infantry.
Anti-vehicle grenades feature 100% armor penetration causing them to ignore all armor values whether positive or negative multipliers, such as the Valkyrie's belly armor, Lightning and main battle tank side/rear armor, or the Forward Vanguard Shield.
To throw a grenade, press the Use Grenade hotkey (G by default).

History[]
October 5, 2022 Update (The Lost Fleet)
- Resistance type from 37 (Infantry Launcher) to 11 (Heavy Explosives)
- Nanite cost from 50 to 75.
Dev Note: This converts Anti-Vehicle Grenades into a competitive C4 alternative with more reach and less alpha damage.
- Inner blast radius from 1m to 1.5m
- Armor penetration bonus from 50% to 100%.
Dev Note: These changes provide a modest damage boost against armored vehicle targets, and more consistent damage in other situations.
