− | #This Anti-Personal Explosive is considered worst than the other faction's AP mines since it (as of the latest update) does the same damage as the other mines, but only in one direction. While this is usually a liability, this CAN be used to your advantage. For instance, when in very close quarters, a TR infiltrator can place a mine within 6 meters from him and it can go off without killing him, so long as it is pointing in the opposite direction. This also enables more control in the placement of the mine... an infiltrator can place them intentionally facing certain directions to get a specific result. These are usually considered a waste of Certs, but with some creative skill, it is easily still competitive. |
