Terminals are interactable objects located across Auraxis that provide a variety of functions, ranging from resupply and equipment changes to the spawning of ground and air vehicles, among other functions.

The vast majority of facilities contain at least one type of terminal—with notable exception to the vast majority of Construction Outposts. The exact complement of terminals, however, varies wildly dependent on the specific base. Typically, the larger a facility, the more terminals it contains and the larger a variety of terminals it hosts.

Most terminals can be hacked by Infiltrators, assuming they can reach the terminal, allowing the class to switch the allegiance of the terminal to their own faction, even if that facility is owned by a hostile empire. Hacked terminals remain in this state until destroyed or hacked once again, although will restore their allegiance if the facility switches hands.

To access a terminal, stand near to and look at it, then press the Interact hotkey (E by default).

Terminal Types[]

Equipment Terminals[]

Equipment Terminals, also often referred to as Infantry Terminals, are the most ubiquitous terminal on Auraxis, and allow infantry and MAXes to change their class and loadout at any time, as well as recharging shields and resupplying ammunition and consumables on use.

Icon Infantry Terminal

Equipment terminals will only restore a players health up to 25 if used to resupply when below that amount. They will not restore any health past this value. Equipment terminals will instantly and fully restore shielding, however, as well as instantly clearing any non-visual debuffs on the player.

These terminals can be located in the vast majority of facilities across Auraxis, except in most Construction Outposts, as well as from Sunderers and Colossi using the S-AMS and C-AMS systems respectively.

Equipment terminals provide the same functionality regardless of where they are found.

PS2 Class Terminals

Vehicle Terminals[]

Vehicle Terminals allow the consumption of Nanites to spawn a wide variety of ground vehicles for use.

Using a vehicle terminal will place the user into a queue, based on how many other players are also attempting to use the terminal. Once the player reaches the front of the queue, they will be teleported into the driver's seat of their desired vehicle atop the nearby vehicle pad.

Three varieties of vehicle terminals exist on Auraxis—light vehicle, ground vehicle, and Colossus terminals.

Light Vehicle[]

Light Vehicle Terminals allow the consumption of Nanites to spawn Flashes, Icon NSO Javelins, Harassers, Sunderers, Lightnings, and ANTs.

Icon Light Terminal

These terminals are most often found at Outposts, and are represented by the icon of a Sunderer.

This icon is also used to represent the Light Vehicle Terminal, a construct.

Ground Vehicle[]

Ground Vehicle Terminals allow the consumption of Nanites to spawn Flashes, Icon NSO Javelins, Harassers, Sunderers, Lightnings, main battle tanks, and ANTs.

Icon Vehicle Terminal

These terminals are most often found at Large Outposts, major facilities (such as Amp Stations), and Warpgates, and are represented by the icon of a tank.

Colossus[]

Colossus Terminals allow the consumption of Nanites to spawn Flashes, Icon NSO Javelins, Harassers, Sunderers, Lightnings, main battle tanks, ANTs, and Colossi.

Icon Vehicle Terminal

These terminals are only found at Tech Plants and Warpgates. Though they share the same icon as ground vehicle terminals, this variant is much larger than a typical terminal and is also linked to a larger-than-normal vehicle pad.

PS2 Vehicle Terminals

Aircraft Terminals[]

Aircraft Terminals allow the consumption of Nanites to spawn a wide variety of air vehicles for use.

Icon Aircraft Terminal

Using an aircraft terminal will place the user into a queue, based on how many other players are also attempting to use the terminal. Once the player reaches the front of the queue, they will be teleported into the pilot's seat of their desired aircraft above the nearby landing pad.

All aircraft terminals can be used to spawn empire specific fighters, Dervishes, Valkyries, and Galaxies.

Aircraft terminals located at Large Outposts, major facilities (such as Amp Stations), and Warpgates can also spawn Liberators. There is no visual distinction between this type of terminal and the normal variant.

PS2 Aircraft Terminals

Command[]

Command Terminals allow the launch of Bastion Fleet Carriers by eligible Outfit members.

Icon Aircraft Terminal

The use of a Command Terminal will call down the carrier from orbit above the warpgate in which it was launched, and after entry will teleport the launching player into the pilot seat of the carrier.

These terminals have a unique model and are only found in Warpgates.

Warpgate Terminals[]

Warpgate Terminals open up the World Map screen for players, allowing them to warp to other continents.

Icon Warpgate Terminal

Warpgate terminals are located in all Warpgates, in VR Training, as well as across Sanctuary. They are indicated by a globe icon.

The use of a warpgate terminal is not required to warp between continents, as this functionality can also be reached on the map screen.

PS2 WorldMap Terminals

Mission Boards[]

Mission Boards open up the Missions screen for players, allowing them to view, accept, and redeem rewards for Missions. Mission boards are located in all Warpgates, as well as across Sanctuary. They are indicated by a grey ringed star.

The use of a mission board is not required to access the missions system, as this functionality can also be reached via the map screen.

Energy Bridge Terminals[]

Energy Bridge Terminals control the faction allegiance of Energy Bridges.

Found exclusively at Heyoka Chemical Lab, the allegiance of these terminals can be changed by any class interacting with it, rather than requiring the presence of an Infiltrator.

Sunderer Towers[]

Sunderer Tower Terminals control the faction allegiance of a Sunderer Tower's shielding.

Found exclusively across Esamir, the allegiance of these terminals can be changed by any class interacting with it, rather than requiring the presence of an Infiltrator.

Tempest Siphon[]

Tempest Siphon Terminals control the power of the Tempest Siphons found within the Containment Sites of Esamir.

These terminals switch the Siphon between its two states—active and disabled. Only the defenders of the facility can enable the Tempest Siphon, and only attacking empires can disable it.
