The Advanced Nanite Transport (ANT) is a ground vehicle available to all factions. It can be spawned from any allied ground vehicle terminal.

ANTs are purpose-built mining transports, able to harvest and house a unique resource; Cortium, a mineral that can be used to construct and power various player-made buildings and modules.

The ANT is a four-man crew vehicle, consisting of a driver, gunner, and two passengers. All crew members are fully protected within the vehicle, regardless of which seat they occupy.

The driver seat has access to one of two mining lasers, able to harvest Cortium, as well as unload stored Cortium into Silos. The gunner seat comes equipped with its own mining laser to speed up harvesting, but can also be outfitted with standard Nanite Systems vehicle weaponry, such as the M20 Basilisk.

The ANT can store a maximum of 10,000 Cortium.

As mentioned above, it is possible to use the ANT's cortium supply to construct buildings:

First, deploy the ANT using the Deploy (B ) hotkey. Make sure it is outside of any no-construction zones (red circles on the minimap).

A construction terminal will then spawn on the vehicle's rear-end. Interact with it by pressing the Interact (E) hotkey, and simply select the desired construction from the list of available construction objects.

The ANT has access to eight separate cosmetic customization slots, each modifiying a different part of the vehicle.

Alongside the expected ability to add Camouflage, Decals, and Ornaments, the player can modify the exterior of the vehicle, use the 'Other' slot to add attachments and plating to the rear of the ANT, swap the tires and/or their hubcaps out for new ones, add lighting effects to beneath the vehicle's chassis, and add a trim effect to the body.

Though not necessarily defined as a cosmetic, the sound of the ANT's in-built horn can also be changed.
